Jake & Jade Puppies

Jake is a lovely boy who is a grandson of my male “Digger”.  Jade is a “Digger” daughter so this is a lovely line breeding.  Jake has a fabulous temperament and lovely conformation - I love his movement.  He has a nice dark straight coat and is an “easy keeper”.  His owners have had a wonderful show career with him that includes winning the breed at the Miniature Dachshund National show and a Best In Show Owner Handler!! CHIC# is 17

Jade is on of my favorite girls that I have bred.  I love her breed type and her temperament is to “die for”.  She is such a pretty mover and I love her front assembly.  She has had some really nice wins in the show ring and her owner is showing her for her grand championship now.  

**7/15/2023 - I have a the purple boy is available to a show or pet home.  The buyer had to back out as she had a stroke about 4 weeks ago.  We soooo wish her the best!  

March 9, 2023 - Jade is in season!

3/17/2023 - Jade's progesterone is 2.44.

3/19/2023 - Leaving for the dachshund national at Purina Farms in Missouri.  Taking Jade with me as the male I want to breed her to is there.

3/20/2023 - Met Jake and his owners - did an AI (artificial insemination).

3/21/2023 - First natural breeding.

3/23/2023 - Second natural breeding.  We covered her nicely.

4/8/2023 - Shea (my co-breeder) palpated Jade and she felt 5!  So at least we know she is pregnant!

5/15/2023 - Xray showed 5 puppies!!!!  Jade is huge - still eating great.  We are ready for these precious babies to make their appearance!

May 22, 2023 - Jade had her puppies - FINALLY!  She whelped all five puppies beautifully and they are all doing great!  We have 4 boys and 1 girl.  Two black & tan boys and 2 shaded red boys and a shaded red girl.  Scroll down to see pictures of the babies!  Jade is a great mom!!
