Sherry and I are so excited about this breeding. Bradley is a proven producer and has sired seven champions to date with more on the way. He has a group 2 placement from the classes! He is the sire of Souvie, who is Boot's sire. We are hoping this grandfather/grandaughter combination will produce type, movement, and elegance. |

Beanie got her first stacking lesson today (5/7/09) - she also got her first taste of cheese. And, just like a typical dachshund - she LOVED the food! lol

I just had to give Beanie some lovin' after her stacking lesson! 
Look at that front reach already!! lol This was Beanie's first time outdoors. She LOVED the grass and jumped through it before she figured out she could just walk. 
Rosie & Beanie in the yard. Beanie has her own body guards - those setters protect Beanie like you can't believe. Rosie herded her back home when she started getting to far away.

Grandma & Grandpa (Bob & Jean Burnett who own Boots sire Ch. Souvenir of Wagsmore) sent Beanie her first toys today. She truly loved them - she had multiple wresting matches with them today! 
Beanie got a bath!!! 
Like mother like daughter!! I swear - I don't think either Boots or Beanie can sleep on their stomachs! lol 
Paddy has always been fascinated and "in love" with Beanie - I have a feeling they will be fast friends! Beanie is going to think that Paddy is her daddy. lol

She barely fits in to my hands now! She is 4 weeks old. 
18 days old now - she sure sleeps upside down alot!! 
Eyes open and just starting to crawl. 17 days old today!

Beanie at 1 week old. One week ago today we were in the middle of a C-section. So glad we are past that and that Beanie is happy and healthy.

This is the picture that started us calling her "Beanie". As I held her, I said "she looks like a little bean in my hands". A few beers later she had a new call name. And, her registered name is "Galewinns Kaycees JT's I Be An Only". We have any many a good laugh over this name!! Thanks to the irish setter people for their name contributions!!
