Bode is the boy that I kept out of the Bravo/Gabby breeding.  He is very outgoing and has a beautiful front.  Stay tuned and watch him grow up.  We have high hopes for this boy!!!

Feb 2010 - We (Ginny Swanson of Tramore Irish Setters and I)  have started doing some field training with Bode and so far he is doing great!!  He points easily and is staunch.  I am learning how to train in the field and we are having a blast.  I hope to run him in some hunt tests and maybe run a field trial once I learn some more!!  Scroll down to see some pictures of Bode running in the field.  I forgot to get my camera when we did the bird work so I didn't get any of him pointing.  I will get some pointing pictures next week for sure!!  The weather was sooo cold and there was ice and snow but we still had a great time.

April 5, 2010 - Bode is shown in California and wins BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES!!  We were thrilled as there were some very nice puppies including some "relatives" that were very nice.  Scroll down for pictures.

April 10 & 11, 2010 - Bode goes Winners Dog both days this weekend at the show in Brighton.  Made for a fun weekend!

April 25th, 2010 - Bode qualifies for his first leg of his Junior Hunter title!!!  We had so much fun - he had two bird finds both days.  He didn't qualify on Saturday because he was way to interested in the Visla girl that was our brace mate - he was sure she wanted him!! lol  But...on Sunday he was awesome and had two more finds and qualified.  I was so proud of him.  Only 3 legs to go now to get his title....

May 7-9th, 2010 - Bode goes WD all three days that we showed in South Jordan, Utah and he crosses over on Friday for a 3 point major!  He now has 8 points and 1 major.

May 30th, 2010 - Bode goes BOW for 2 points in Laramie. He has 10 points now with one major.

June 5th, 2010 - Bode goes BOW for his second major.  He now has 13 points with 2 majors.  Headed to the national tomorrow....

June 10th, 2010 - Bode goes 3rd in his class (12-18 mo) at the Irish Setter National!!  We were thrilled - he showed like a million bucks!!  His cousin won the class and went RWD so that was nice.  Scroll down to see some pictures of Bode at the National in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

 July 3rd, 2010 - Bode goes BOW for 1 point.  He just needs a single point to finish....

September 26, 2010 - Bode finishes his championship with his third major!!!  Scroll down for pictures.  He will now move on to being more active in the field.  We have a couple of hunt tests planned for next month so stay tuned.

October 9, 2010 - Bode earns two more legs towards his Junior Hunter Title.  He ran so nice - he had a big run and 3 finds.  I was so proud of him.

October 10, 2010 -  Bode earns his 4th and final leg of his Junior Hunter Title!!!!  We had so much fun running - he loves the field work.  His natural instinct is really started to come out.  We are going to train for our Senior Hunter title now....we both have a lot to learn!!
