Bagger finished his championship at 15 months old with 3 specialty majors. He absolutely loves the show ring and has always done everything I have ever asked of him. He has been ranked in the top 10 (#8) in 2005 and has qualified for Eukanuba in 2005 & 2006. He has multiple group placements and he was shown at Westminster in 2006. Bagger recently has retired from the show ring and is having a great time being a couch potato, going to work with me everyday, and welcoming in the ladies from out of town!
May 2008 - Bagger started showing with Shea Jonsrud in Junior Showmanship. They have only shown together for 2 weekends and so far they have a 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 4th in very competitive classes. I am so thrilled to get to watch Bagger in the ring again and Shea does an AMAZING job with him! Bagger is loving his new "career". Pictures to come soon!
Sept 2008 - Bagger and Shea have qualified for Eukanuba!!! They have acquired 5 first place class placements (in tough competition) which qualifies them for the Eukanuba Classic in December in Long Beach, CA. I am so proud of them both and can't wait to watch them at one of the biggest shows.
9/20 & 21/2008 - Shea & Bagger get two more first places in Juniors at the Grand Junction Kennel Club show!! If they get 3 more they will qualify for Westminster in February. Keep your fingers crossed....
October 2008 - Shea & Bagger win first in her class all three days at the Rapid City Kennel Club show and went on to win BEST JUNIOR 2 of the 3 days. They are qualified for Westminster now - way to go Shea & Bagger!! Scroll down to see a recent picture of this awesome team.
February 2009 - Shea & Bagger win their class all 3 days at the Secaucus, NJ specialties. They showed beautifully at Westminster amongt significant competition. Then, they went back to Colorado to win two first places in huge competition and to go Best Junior one of the days. This was one of Shea's goals - to go "Best Junior" and the Colorado Kennel Club Shows in Denver and she did it!!! Shea & Bagger have already qualified to go to Eukanuba next year in 2010.
8/14/09 - Bagger wins the Colorado Irish Setter Specialty from the Veteran's class!!!! It was amazing - he looked so good and had so much fun. Thanks to Melissa Money for showing him. Bagger is 7 years old now and he "has still got it!" I am so proud of him!! Pictures to come.... Also, his son, Superstition Marakesh Express won a 5 point major the same day - now Crosby only needs 1 point to finish his championship.
Bagger has sired six litters to date:
1) Galewinns Keliaire Uh-Oh "Sedona" - 12 puppies whelped on 5/18/04, 8 girls, 4 boys.
2) Windkist Second Mortgage "Neeley" - 10 puppies whelped on 11/04.
3) Ch. Tramore Hidden Assets "Heidi" - 10 puppies whelped on 6/4/05, 6 girls, 4 boys.
4) Ch. Galewinns Legend of Keliaire "Legend" - 5 puppies whelped 1/6/07, 4 girls, 1 boy.
5) Morrigan's Holiday Inn "Jenna" - 9 puppies whelped in 5/07, 5 girls, 4 boys. (See "Other Litters" for pictures)
